A US appeals court has dismissed a lawsuit claiming that the Vatican bank illegally laundered money and valuables from Holocaust survivors. According to the court, the Vatican bank is immune due to a 1976 law that protects sovereign nations from prosecution.

The plaintiff was disappointed saying, “The reason we’re disappointed is the court found that dealing in gold teeth from concentration camps was not a commercial act…”
